I came across this recipe for homemade Milano cookies a couple of weeks ago, and I just had to try it. Who doesn't enjoy making their favorite cookies at home? Sure, you have to put in the extra effort, but they always taste just a little bit better coming right out of the oven. Milano cookies are a trademark dessert by Pepperidge Farm as part of their series of European cookies - I've never been to Europe before, but I can just imagine myself eating these dainty treats at a local cafe. Delizioso!

Confession: as a child, I would take a whole cup cake paper (Milano lovers know what I am talking about) and eat the whole row. Those bad boys usually did not last two days, and I have a feeling the homemade ones will last less that 24 hours -- if even!
